Help me give my students a place to work! We're preparing for our new first grade class for the 2019-2020 school year, and we need a place for them to exercise their little minds!
My students are eight fun and insightful first and second graders. Despite their disability of autism and delays of 2-4 years behind grade/age level, my students are learning independence and are becoming well-rounded individuals. Every day they are growing and learning and their unique personalities make every day bright! Our students often work on targeted, individual goals that are aligned with their personal needs. Our goal for our students is that they grow to be independent learners who are motivated to achieve their dreams!
My Project
We are preparing our classroom for some smaller learners! Next year, we will be working with students in first and second grade. Our classroom is currently outfitted with furniture and activities that support fifth graders, so we need new materials for our little learners.
We are requesting classroom materials that accommodate our eight new students in our tiny room!
We've requested a horseshoe table that will allow for eight students to sit comfortably while still allowing for the classroom to have smaller learning stations. Additionally, we've requested more storage supplies to keep all of our learning materials organized and easily accessible. Finally, we've asked for two cooperative play games to help our learners become better collaborators in the classroom.
