My Students
My students are in a self-contained, autistic, support classroom in an urban school in Philadelphia, for grade bands K-2. My students are all on varying grade levels academically. I have several high functioning students as well as low functioning students.
My students are very sweet and kind, and want the ability to learn in the best possible environment for them.
My students are very hands-on students who also like visuals. They enjoy completing puzzles, and building things with blocks and LEGOs.
My Project
My students use a lot of markers throughout the day and the school year. Many of my students need repetitive practice in writing pre-writing lines, numbers, letters, and their names. To be able to save paper and not print the same paper every day, I use whiteboard pockets. To be able to use those whiteboard pockets, my students need whiteboard markers and erasers. My students go through so many markers in a school year. I need an ample supply of them to be able to have my students continue to practice and improve their writing skills.
