I teach digital photography to inner-city students in grades 10-12. Our school is going through another round of budget cuts, so funding is tight and it's harder than ever to get basic supplies.

This is the first year we've offered digital photography to our students, and it's been a huge hit! However, we are low on supplies, and one of our major obstacles is batteries. We can't afford to keep buying new ones to power up the cameras.

We need rechargeable batteries! This will help us keep the cameras going, while cutting out costs and helping us be more green.

Thank you for supporting our request! These kids have so few creative outlets, and the digital photography class has done wonders for them. It has also introduced them to their own community as they have set out to complete projects about their city.
