My Project

My students are very interested in drone piloting and drone photography. We live on an island and there are numerous spots to photograph and access via drone. Our school has never had a drone program and next year I am looking to pilot the first-ever West Tisbury School drone class as an elective. This class will provide students with real-world knowledge in an ever-growing field that offers careers in numerous occupations. It also provides them with essential computer science skills that they can use as they move forward throughout high school and beyond.
