My students need Seat Sacks to organize their materials so they can focus on their academics.
My students are enthusiastic learners in a Title l school located in Brooklyn (near Coney Island). A majority of the students in our class are English Language Learners. They are not only learning to read but also reading to learn.
They are trying their best to be successful in their learning lives by being more organized.
They are practicing their stamina and perseverance in difficult tasks. They are eager to expand and grow ideas. They just need some tools to make it easier for them to be successful learners.
My students have been using the same seat sacks from four years ago (from the last DonorsChoose project). Sadly, over these four years, many have broken and there are some that are hanging by threads. Six students currently don't have any.
These Seat Sacks are essential to my students' success.
They have so many notebooks and workbooks that it is difficult to organize. These Seat Sacks are an easy way to quickly grab the notebooks they need so they can get straight to learning. The six seat sacks will be given to the students who are currently unorganized. The additional four will be used to replace the ones that are hanging by threads. Please help us organize our third grade lives so they can be successful learners!
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
