My classroom consists of inclusion, ELL, and general education students who come together on a daily basis to be successful. They participate in a reading program which requires one-on-one conferencing, small group instruction, and 30 minutes of independent reading throughout the day.
My students truly have a love for reading, and I would love to be able to give them a more organized, inviting space to find some exciting books!
I believe every student should have the opportunity to find books that they become passionate about. It would be easier for them to browse if we had a better organization system in place.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will help us have a more organized space for the books in our library. Our current bookshelves and book bins are falling apart, which makes it difficult for my students to find what they are looking for.
I want every student to enjoy browsing for their favorite books, rather than becoming discouraged due to organizational issues.
If we are able to get these materials, it would make things much easier! The wire shelving would keep books separated, and the book bins would be easily accessible on those shelves. I can't wait to see how excited my students will be once they are able to access all of their favorite books!
