Help Us Organize Our School Store

Help me give my students the storage needed to organize our positive behavior school store. This will help them be able to take on leadership and run the store themselves.

My Students

My students are lively, passionate, hard-working and persistent; however, for many of them, managing their emotions can be difficult. My school consists of students with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities and emotional regulation struggles. Despite their academic and behavioral challenges they love to learn and are eager to improve their social and emotional skills. My job as a special education coach is to support students and teachers in a specialized school within NYC’s Department of Education. My students each have a variety of unique behavioral challenges, yet their passion to grow and pursue leadership opportunities is shared by all of them.

Often, we are able to overcome these challenges with unique solutions; however, building a strong PBIS store will help to motivate my students to earn their positive behavior points each day.

Each student has unique interests and things they would like to earn. By supporting my students, you will be providing prizes and other materials to motivate them to be successful in the classroom as well as in their communities.

My Project

This project will help provide the organization system to keep our school store neat and tidy. These shelves will help to make the store not only organized but also appealing for students when they are shopping with their positive behavior points. Lastly, these items will help to create clear systems that our student volunteers can use to manage the store while they are working. We are so excited to have such awesome prizes to offer our students and this is the next step in developing our school store. Thank you!
