My fourth graders are always ready for fun, interactive activities in math, science, and health class! As a high poverty/ low-income district, my students face various challenges on a daily basis but still come to school every day and give it their best.
My students are energetic, ambitious, and always excited to see what activities I have planned for them.
They love collaborating with others, exploring new ideas, trying new strategies, and sharing their solutions! My goal is that my students stay eager to learn as they continue to grow into successful individuals.
My Project
With an abundance of students' notebooks and textbooks, there is little room in their desks for their supplies needed throughout the day. The students often have extra books on the floor, which often get disorganized.
Seat pockets and extra storage bins would be a perfect addition to the classroom!
More organization in the room will help the students work more productively as they find what they need. Our 4th grade is also departmentalized and the students switch classes. For many students, it is difficult to organize their books as they move from class to class. Having a more organized classroom will help the students transport their belongings more efficiently and walk in their next class prepared and ready to learn.
