My students are amazing second graders in a high poverty area.
They are eager to learn and are full of life.
My students are so enthusiastic about doing their work but frequently do not have the materials needed to do so. Often times, they are faced with outside forces that impede their ability to learn effectively.
I strive to make learning fun for my students and I truly enjoy watching them gain a love of learning. My students enjoy learning in various ways including using books and through the use of technology.
My students have been doing such a fantastic job throughout this school year. They transport their leveled books daily, to and from school. They have been doing such a great job reading at home and at school that their current book baggies are falling apart. These new Lakeshore Book Bags will be a great and sturdy way for them to transport their books.
As my students' reading interests grow, so does our classroom library.
We are overflowing with books and will be using the Lakeshore Book Bins to organize our leveled books. Having the books organized by my students' reading level will be great and efficient way for students to use the books each and every day.
