Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Pre-K students represent diverse backgrounds, experiences, risk factors, and reflect a wide range of special needs. These tiny learners ages three and four, love school and love learning through the sound of music.
My students walk into our Pre-K classroom every day full of energy, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.
Our Pre-k class is comprised of 18 amazing kids, many of whom come from bilingual households and receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
Music is a natural and important part of young children’s growth and development. Early interaction with music positively affects the quality of all children’s lives. Successful experiences in music help all children bond emotionally and intellectually with others through creative expression in song, rhythmic movement, and listening experiences.
Your generous donation will improve our Pre-K classroom by providing children with many opportunities to explore sound through singing, moving, listening, and playing instruments.
By donating to this project, children will have the opportunity to play, explore and learn through the use of instruments. The instruments and cd player will be used during our Whole Group Music and Movement activities and during our Learning Center time in a designated music center in our classroom.
All children deserve a school environment that offers many possible routes for them to explore as they grow in awareness and curiosity about music. Please donate to this cause and help children move and learn to the beat.
