My Students

My fourth grade students LOVE working with technology! Many are not given the opportunity at home. My school demographics show that greater than 80% of students are considered economically disadvantaged. 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at school. Together, we are working hard to overcome these obstacles.

My students are extremely hard workers.

I teach an inclusion class which means that many of my students are receiving special services. Even though they are faced with many challenges, my students are so eager to learn.

My Project

My class was recently awarded a class set of Chromebooks through a parish grant. The headphones will allow my students to be able to listen to instructional videos. It will also allow my inclusion students to hear text read aloud. The mice will help them to highlight, copy, paste, navigate websites, and use web tools to complete work with ease.

The headphones and mice will enhance the daily use of Chromebooks in the classroom.

We need this in our classroom! These Chromebooks encourage student engagement. They are a great resource for intervention and enrichment. Access to Chromebooks will help my students to become 21st century learners!
