Kindergarten is a time for children to grow in so many ways. In our kindergarten classroom, we focus on developing math and literacy skills in addition to social and emotional development.
I have 24 amazing ELL students this year!
They are eager to learn new things. They are very interested in learning to read. Sandy impacted our school last year during their time in Pre-K. My hope is for kindergarten to be a highly productive and exciting year for them.
My students need a variety literacy games, a math rug, 100 pocket chart, and two sets of sight word readers. These materials will enhance student learning in so many ways. They will be able to practice reading skills with the sight word readers. The literacy games will be used in learning centers to make learning fun! The hundreds pocket chart and carpet will help build our counting skills!
