My students need a MAGFORMERS STEAM BASIC 200 PC Set to learn how math, engineering, arts and the sciences all work together.

"Are you ready to learn Tigers?" is what I always ask my 4th-grade students every day. They always reply with a resounding "Yes Mr. B!" as they enter my class.
Many of my students come from homes that were adversely affected by Hurricane Irma, so basic amenities they need to prosper are not readily available to them.
My school also has a high number of students who are first-generation immigrants from Haiti.
As a dedicated educator, I strongly believe that all children will learn if they are given the opportunities, right learning tools, and are placed in a dynamic setting. As their teacher, my main objective is to enhance and improve their young learning experiences and provide an engaging learning environment.
Our school is embarking to be designated officially a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) school and as a result, integrated teaching has now infiltrated every aspect of how our classes are taught.
After Hurricane Irma struck, most students came back with fewer supplies and less access to the tools they needed to be successful.
Even with limited resources, using manipulatives in my classroom has proved to be quite a success as the students learn quickly, discover and enjoy every lesson while developing scientific exploration, analytical and critical math and science skills.
I am requesting a STEAM manipulative kit, which will be used for STEAM group center activities. My students need to experience hands-on activities in the form of conducting experiments, building and exploring real-life STEAM concepts and using their senses. Currently, my classroom is very limited in terms of manipulative resources, as I share what is available with four other teachers.
We are aiming to become a STEAM school in the upcoming school year and having our students get to explore and discover math, engineering and science outside of reading a book or going on the Internet would be priceless.
