My Students

I teach 25 low-income first-grade students. They are smart, funny, creative, and soak up new learning like sponges!

This disruption in learning has been very challenging for them!

Most students left school and thought we would be back the next day. They need supplies to work from home!

My Project

My students are so smart, funny, kind, and little sponges and this pandemic has disrupted their learning routines! They want and need to keep learning so they can be ready for next year, whatever that may look like.

They need basic school supplies to be able to continue to work and learn at home.

Many students left their book bags and school supplies at school thinking we would return the next day. This project gives them pencils, crayons, notebooks, and a new bookbag. It also gives them new toothbrushes and toothpaste.
