My Students

Don't you remember what it was like to read your very first book on your own for the first time? The LeapFrog TAG reading system will allow my students to have this opportunity!

My students are First graders in New York public schools.

They come very different backgrounds and cultures. Many are English Language Learners and are trying to learn to speak English as well as read in English. Struggling readers often give up instead of putting in the time and practice that they need in order to be able to read successfully on their own.

My Project

With your donation to this project you will be providing students that are struggling to learn how to read by giving them a fun way to do it. The TAG pens will help the students read these books and the cases will help to keep everything neat and in place.

Without you these books and TAG pens will sit on their shelves in the stores where they are located because our schools barely have enough money these days for the bare necessities let alone products like these.

Technology is so important in the classroom in order to keep the students motivated and interacting in their learning. Please help me help my students!
