My students need a new timer for games and activities in PE class. Without our timer working it is hard for students to manage game play and evenly rotate substitutes in.
My gym and classroom is a bright, upbeat positive environment for all of my students to learn and be successful in. I enjoy having my students come into class ready to learn and ready for the next lesson! I have grown to adore my students and want to give them everything I can!
My students live in a very diverse area where school is looked at as a safe and fun environment for them.
My school is very old, but inside the walls has a lot to offer. We are trying to improve the learning environment in any way we can since our building is lacking. We try to create a positive and loving environment. The 7th and 8th graders come to school on a daily basis to enjoy the stability we give them and to be a part of something bigger than themselves. We use every opportunity we can to allow our students to feel like this is home. We treat our kids with respect, and they give it back. We create a positive place for our students and give them the accountability they need. Day in and day out students come to school excited about the new opportunities.
My Project
My students need a new timer for games and activities in PE class. Without our timer working it is hard for students to manage game play and evenly rotate substitutes in. My students are lacking items that help them keep track of the score and time left in games. We need a new portable clock to keep time and new scoreboards to help keep track of the score during games! Things get over used in the PE department and I like to keep our materials in great shape. It is hard to get the materials I need, PE often gets left out of budget conversations and lack proper materials and supplies. It is time to upgrade our old and broken equipment and give my students what they need to have fun and be successful!
