Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As the students return to school with excitement, so return all of the germs that accompany them.
Many of my students live in conditions that do not always promote a healthy lifestyle.
With lack of health care and regular doctors, they often bring their germs to school to share amongst friends and teachers. With constant pressure and stress to succeed in school and reach higher standards, many students attend school even when they're quite ill.
My Project
Starting the new school year off with a great supply of sanitizing products will help us keep our classroom environment free of germs. The wipes are used weekly to clean off individual student desks. My students tend to go through plenty of boxes of tissues each year, and they absolutely LOVE using hand sanitizer. Having such large quantities of these products readily available will help keep us healthy and able to continue learning (and teaching)!
Please help us get these basic supplies that so often are forgotten when shopping for Back to School.
If my students are sick and must stay home, they run the risk of falling behind in their education. Let's provide them with a chance at a healthy new school year!
