Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Organization is key for any teacher; it helps with locating materials for myself, as well as the students. Keeping organized eliminates time lost looking for supplies around the classroom. The containers will allow students to go over and grab their own materials for centers and keep portfolios for each student.

Keeping organized will allow me to model to students on how they should keep their materials organized.

Students will be able to find materials quicker and easier, as well as myself. All materials in the classroom will be neat and can be used efficiently in the classroom. The whiteboard easel will allow for whole class lessons.

The larger containers will allow me to organize and keep students work all in one place. Having each student have a file, will allow me to keep a math portfolio for all students for the school year. These will allow not only students but parents see the students growth.
