Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 12, sometimes 13 special needs students in a Title I school on the Lower East Side. All of my students have different levels of disabilities that need to be taught using differentiated teaching.
All of my wonderful students have the desire to learn just like their general education peers.
They try hard on a daily basis and want to do well educationally, emotionally and behaviorally. They celebrate their successes and know when they need extra support to help meet their needs.
My Project
Here we are again, cold and flu season! My students need to be in school daily. A cold or even worse, the flu, can't knock them down. Clorox wipes will help keep the room clean and free of germs. We need tissues so the students can take care of their sniffles the appropriate way. Using their sleeve or hard paper towels is not the way to wipe their noses.
Help keep my students in class this winter, where they belong.
I need my students to be in school so their academic goals are reached by the end of the year. There is no time for the sickies
