Help me give my students new headphones for our Music in Education Piano Lab. Our headsets are old, broken and worn out. Many do not work anymore. We would love to have headphones that work properly!
We are an urban school with students from many demographics. We have great community support for all of the programs that we offer our students.
My students absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group of students.
My Project
We use many different avenues to learn about music and create music. Our MIE Piano Lab gives us hands-on experiences while experiencing our music curriculum. Headphones are needed when students are working on their projects and assignments.
We write melodies, work with partners to create masterpieces, play written melodies, ostinatos, scales, and chords!
Students are being actively creative while learning their lessons.
The headphones allow us to work in an environment that is conducive to learning. Imagine 30 children all playing keyboards without headphones! We need headphones that are working properly to complete our music lessons throughout the school year!
