My Students

Imagine a classroom where you could explore the things that interest you! My classroom is full of students from many different backgrounds and many interests. Headphones would allow each student the opportunity to explore their talents and share them with others without distractions.

I have a diverse classroom where the majority of students come from low income families.

My students love to learn, read, imagine and discover. Most of them do not have access to Internet or technology in their homes so school is the one place where they can begin to explore the world outside their community.

My Project

The headphones I am requesting for my students will allow them to create individualized projects tailored to their strengths and needs. They will be able to work independently and share what they have learned with others. These headphones will allow my students to interact with the world in new ways and become better learners.

While only 2nd graders, many of my students spend much of their time worrying about where their next meal will come from or if they will be able to afford new clothes when they grow out of their old ones.

Headphones may seem like a small thing but to my students, it would give them the opportunity to explore worlds they never even knew existed.
