Help Us Have a Calm Classroom

Help me give my students a calm classroom. My students really appreciate calming strips and a calm classroom environment. They HATE the fluorescent lights. (most of the time we just leave the lights off!)

My Project

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today to humbly request your support in enhancing our classroom environment for the benefit of my students. We are in need of supplies that will greatly improve the learning experience and create a more calming atmosphere.

One of the challenges my students face is dealing with fidgeting and sensory sensitivities.

To address this, we are seeking donations of calming strips. These simple yet effective tools can be placed on desks or workstations, providing a soothing tactile experience that helps students focus and channel their energy in a positive way.

Additionally, our classroom is equipped with fluorescent lighting, which can be overwhelming for some students with sensory sensitivities. To create a more comfortable and accommodating space, we are also seeking fluorescent light covers. These covers will help diffuse the harsh lighting, reducing visual distractions and promoting a more relaxed learning environment.

Your contribution of calming strips and fluorescent light covers will make a significant difference in the lives of my students. By providing them with the tools they need to manage their fidgeting and sensory challenges, you will be empowering them to fully engage in their education and reach their full potential.
