My Students

Can you imagine a classroom without books? As students enter my classroom, I encourage them to not only become lifelong learners, but students that can engage in multiple opportunities to read and write in the classroom.

My hope is to provide a learning environment where students can engage in these opportunities by reading books at their independent reading level, as well as books of various genres.

After teaching my first year, I found that the students in my classroom needed more books to support their reading and learning goals.

My Project

The books that are requested will help our learning environment be filled with books at various levels to support individual needs of each student in my classroom.

These books will allow students to engage in reading opportunities in hopes to create a life-long love of reading!

The more choices the student have in choosing a book of their choice, the more their reading can continue to develop in various genres of literature. As students choose books from the leveled library, they are able to find books at their independent reading level, as well as books to further their joy of reading!
