We are a rural Title 1 elementary school. Many of our students receive free or reduced lunches. One of my teaching goals is to provide fun and engaging lessons students will remember and love.
This year I have 23 amazing Kindergarten students who are so eager and excited to learn.
They love working collaboratively.
I feel as a teacher it is my responsibility to provide my students with fun and engaging lessons. I want to build a love of learning in my classroom!
My Project
When fully funded, I plan to use the materials to set up hands-on reading and math review stations in my kindergarten classroom. The black lights and the glow in the dark materials will create exciting and fun days for my students and myself that we will remember for years! My students will not realize they are reviewing and learning new material!
The best part about this is project is the materials gained can be reused for many years which in return will help build the love of learning for many children in our community!
