Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My baseball team is a group of motivated, intelligent, and eager students that are up for the challenges that present themselves on and off the field.
They have been conditioning for the past 3 1/2 months, they have a burning desire to learn everything they can about baseball!
Since the start of training, there is a true sense of teamwork and support within the team. These students have intentions of pursuing baseball over the next 2-4 years until they graduate high school. Our school's athletic budget is very small so it is necessary that we supplement it through fundraising efforts. The guys are excited to train and play!
My Project
The bats will help us stay in compliance with IHSA since we need to have BBCOR bats. We have bats that we need to replace so we will be able to use the older bats for BP or indoor practices.
The bats will help us have game day bats and have practice bats so we don't beat up on our game day bats and lose the pop in them.
The bats will really help us to have some organization within our team and will help us structure our practices in a better way so we can use our older equipment for practice.
