My Students

My students are rays of sunshine in my life. Each one works hard to make my classroom a place where all can learn and explore their own interests. Recently, my newborn daughter has taken a huge toll on my energy and time, but my students take charge and get to work without me having to tell them to! They are so thoughtful and help to make sure the classroom runs as smoothly as possible.

My Project

In our community, sports are a celebrated pastime. However, with COVID, many elderly and at-risk members of the community are unable to attend the games. My students recognized this problem and decided to create a livestream to bring the game to those who can't come. With this camera, they will be able to take their production to the next level, and show multiple angles. After getting this camera, they will create a budget for any and all supplemental materials they require. They will also learn how to perform proper maintenance on the camera, and they will learn teamwork and communication skills to keep everything running smoothly.
