Help me give my students a new keyboard for each class. Our keyboard that we used last year broke and we currently do not have a full size keyboard. This prohibits our daily learning in rehearsals and lessons.

My Students

The students in the Music Academy are a select group of students who participate in a rigorous program learning all styles of music and vocal technique. The Music Academy contains 5 choral/vocal groups consisting of Choir Level 1/2, Concert Choir, Advanced Vocal Ensemble, Show Choir, and Vocal Track (Acapella).

Coming off of an extremely successful year Advanced Vocal Ensemble is getting ready to travel to New York City to perform in Carnegie Hall.

The group will be working all year to prepare for their performance in April 2019.

Along with the Carnegie Hall performance, all of the other ensembles will participate in multiple competitions and festivals throughout the year to gain performance experience and to perfect their craft.

My Project

A keyboard/piano is something that we use constantly in rehearsals. It has been a challenge this year without a piano. Help us reach our goal so we can have all of the tools and equipment we need to reach our full potential as a Music Academy.

Our new piano will allow us to learn at a quicker and more efficient pace.

Currently we use a non-weighted quarter size keyboard that does not have the volume for all students to hear. We have become very creative in how we learn our music so far, but we all would love to have a legitimate piano to add to our classroom.
