My Students

I am a Special Education teacher in a Kindergarten ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) classroom. My class is made up of Special Education and General Education students. Our school is a Title 1 Elementary School servicing all abilities from Pre-K through Grade 5 with a very diverse population. My Co-Teacher and I would love for our students to have these privacy partitions so that they could complete their independent work without any distractions. We would like our students to feel that they could move at their own pace while remaining focused.

My Project

These privacy partitions will make a HUGE difference in my students’ learning because during independent work time, it will allow them to work at their own pace without distractions. These privacy partitions will also allow my students to hone in on the task at hand which will allow them to remain focused and on task throughout the entire independent work period. We currently use folders that are flimsy and continuously fall, which wind up being more of a distraction. Please help my students feel confident in their work without having to fix their folders that are falling down on the regular!
