My current class is the very first group of 3rd Graders I’ve ever had. Every day I am greeted by 23 smiling faces, 23 secret handshakes and a WHOLE lot of energy! Each morning my students enthusiastically enter the room and rush to be the first to get started for the day.
The students in my class have huge hearts and an incredible love of learning!
They care so much about each other and take time to help each other through their struggles. Their sensitivity to each other’s needs amazes me! I am so excited to continue watching them grow the rest of this school year.
My Project
Our classroom has a lot of wonderful seating options, bright colors and even lamps, but we are lacking in storage for our station materials. We need to be able to get to our materials and transport them from one place to the next with ease.
My students love to do stations and STEM activities and this requires that things be stored for easy access.
This year I have not been able to put many stations out at a time as I hoped and I have not been able to have stations for multiple subjects because of a lack of storage that would allow this to happen. If these items are purchased for our class we will be able to prep more stations and store them for easy access.
