My students are 11 years old. They are full of personality and eager to learn. My school is a Title 1 school which means that many of my students come from low income households.
Our average class size is around 34.
It is a struggle to get enough technology access for such large classes. Some students need access to chrome books in order to complete their writing assignments, due to physical restraints such as partial blindness or gross and fine motor skill issues. Having access to Chromebooks would really benefit students with disabilities.
Many of my students do not have access to technology at home; therefore, they need access to laptops within my classroom.
My Project
There has been a major outbreak of the flu and stomach bug within my school. Several students have been forced to miss multiple days of school.
Other students come to school sick and illness spreads.
Please consider helping us combat illness by donating to our donors choose project. We are asking for hand sanitizer, spray disinfectant, and disinfecting wipes. We also added Jolly Ranchers to the list to help students who are coughing or have sore throats.
