I teach second grade at a school that focuses on helping students thrive and compete globally. I do this by creating a classroom environment that shows and gives students the tools and strategies that they need in the world outside of the classroom. These tools and strategies will give the students the potential to succeed and make a difference in the world. I believe our students represent the hopes and dreams of the future, and I are dedicated to making a difference in our children's lives.
My Project
We are a uniform school, and a lot of the time, kids come in without uniform, either because they don't have all the pieces, it is not clean, they spill something on it, or it is too big/small for them to wear. For these situations, we have decided to create a space for our teachers to go get uniform pieces for students who need these items. To start off, we have asked for some uniform pieces, but will be looking for gently used uniforms to be donated to the school from families that attend the school to keep this project running. Either when student out grow the uniform or when students leave the school and no longer need the uniforms.
These students are in need of uniforms and a space to house them.
We believe with your support, we can create a space for these uniforms to help even more students achieve success in our school.
