Help us Cure the Weight-room with Medicine Balls

Help me give my students weighted medicine balls. We need a few more 10 pound j/fit Medicine balls for the students to learn how to properly squat, med ball power clean, and work on keeping their chest upright.

My Students

My students are awesome! They have a desire to learn about fitness as a way to improve their current and future health. Regardless of the skill being taught or workout of the day the students work independently towards the daily goal. Often the class works in pairs and or teams to achieve the daily goals. They are able to work respectfully together while assisting their peers in the various skills. These students are hard working individuals who have a desire to learn and grow on their fitness journey.

My Project

We are in the process of updating the weight room at our school. The goal in class is to teach the students the basic movement patterns using their body weight. Equipment is used to supplement instruction.

We are in need of four more weighted medicine balls to allow for students to scale appropriately.

We have 6, 8, and 12 pound weights but are in need of 10 pound medicine balls.

Upon finishing the course students will have a strong base and be prepared to begin more advanced weightlifting skills. Supporting this project will aid in providing foundational knowledge of the correct body alignment in the front squat, power clean, and deadlift.
