My Project

The students in my 4th - 6th grade classroom need movement during the day to help stay focused. One way this can be done is with the funding of a 4 pack of Waliki chair ball with feet. These chairs will enable my students to sit at their desks and do their work but the students will also be able to bounce and move.

Movement helps the students get energy out but yet still be focused on the lesson.

My students also would like some quiet sensory toys for when they are upset. We have a calming corner in our classroom and this is where the students can go when they are upset to calm down. The sensory toys will enable the students to go to the calming corner when they need to and they will have items to help them calm down.
