Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Help my students achieve success! My students have the will and want to learn. Unfortunately they do not all have the means to do so. We are in need of a class set of scientific/graphing calculators for Geometry. The calculators we have are beginning to fail and do not have all of the functions necessary to give the students the ability to solve for trigonometry and above. Please help me provide what my students need to reach their goals effectively.

My Project

My students are currently supplied with four function calculators, with do not have all of the functions necessary to complete their assignments. As we move deeper into geometry the students need to be able to calculate answers using trigonometry and with out a calculator it will near impossible for them. Having the calculators will also help them get through assignments faster and with efficiency. Some students still struggle with what would be assumed by some to be simple math. The students would be more than appreciative to have access to these calculators for their work in class. It will also help me to keep from the lessons going over due to having to wait for them to do things the long way when unneeded.
