My Students

I teach at a low income school. I want to incorporate some STEM activities for science. My students are smart and amazing. They are so curious about the outside world. I want to bring some excitement into our classroom. Many of the students have never seen real animal life cycles. I want to fulfill that need and make it a memorable experience. My students are crazy about bugs. This will make for great writing activities too! Thanks for helping us with their learning.

My Project

These ladybugs will help the students understanding of animals. We have four third grades. I want to bring in real insects the students have only seen as adults and have them watch their life cycle. The students have never seen Luna moths and they have only seen adult ladybugs. We need to purchase these for our team to help with our science standards and get the students excited about learning. The students can see for themselves the animal life cycles that they only read about in books. They can write about the insects which helps their writing skills. It will inspire them.
