My Students

My second graders need to be challenged and also need the motivation to work as a team! They are an energetic group with mixed abilities. Some students want to be the leader at all times, while others would rather give up or wait to be given the answers rather than do the work themselves. I'm looking to put some exciting activities together that gives every child a chance to shine! Working as a team is an essential part of life and my students need some practice.

My Project

These three Breakout box kits will come with everything I need to get started with creating some challenging, super cool lessons. Each kit comes with two boxes, multiple types of locks, detective type of tools, and a subscription to Breakout EDU. There are literally thousands of lessons on the site and online that involve problem-solving and teamwork to be successful. Having tried this type of activity with a group of adults, I can say with confidence that it is an exciting way to learn. There are just so many ways to incorporate all subject areas with these motivational tools.
