My school is made up of a racially, economically, linguistically, and culturally diverse group of middle school students who are passionate about using technology in the classroom and eager to have teachers who integrate technology effectively into their instruction.
Although my school is historically low-performing, the administration, staff, and students are committed to changing perceptions, breaking barriers, fostering growth, and achieving our goals.

My Project
GSuite, formerly Google Apps for Education, is a collection of Google's web apps and learning tools - including Google Docs, Slides, Forms, Sheets, Classroom, and more. All teachers and students in our district have GSuite accounts, but these accounts are not used to their fullest potential. With our school implementing a 1:1 Chromebook program, we need to develop and offer professional development to help teachers to make the most of our available technology.
By offering our teachers and administrators free training and exams to become Google Certified Educators, we can improve how teachers use technology for instruction, enhance students' learning experiences, and build a solid foundation for digital teaching and learning in our school.
