My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Seventy-five percent of my students are on free or reduced price lunch. My school is a Title I school. This means we rely on donations and money from the government. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with many creative and meaningful learning experiences that they can use in and out of the classroom.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I have in my project are items that will bring my classroom to a fully functional, 1 to 1 classroom. If you have not heard of merge cubes, they are cubes that bring the classroom to life! They are used with an iPad or phone (maybe a computer) and a specific app that brings them to life. They turn into Virtual Reality devices! How cool is that? The mice will be used with our Chromebooks in the classroom. I am hoping to make my classroom a paperless classroom this year! I am so excited to see the children get excited with these new supplies and to see their learning blossom this year!
