Our elementary school is a multi-track year round school. We are one of the largest elementary schools in the state. The Media Center reaches over 1,000 students, who speak at least 35 different languages other than English at home.
We want all of the students at our school to be 21st century learners and have access to the books, materials, and technology they need in order to organize, create, present, and share their learning!
Having access to these things motivates and excites students and teachers. Providing access to these things is the mission of the school Media Center.
My Project
The PTA was very generous and purchased a color printer for teachers to use. This printer is used by teachers to print materials for classroom display, math and reading centers, hands-on manipulatives, and so much more! Unfortunately, our amazing color printer is running out of ink! We need color toner for our printer.
There are many times in an elementary classroom that a black and white copy is just not good enough.
Our students deserve to see the world around them in color! By helping to purchase ink for the color printer, you can help to make that happen. No one wants to see an excellent resource, like our printer, sit and collect dust because there is no ink!
