This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you every felt the thrill of singing on stage in front of an audience?? The students of our school are trying to experience this feeling, but need your help!!

My students, ranging from ages 11-14, come from a very diverse and economically impoverished community.

They rarely have the opportunity to perform artistically in front of large groups, but are very excited to do so! They are extremely talented, but need people to believe in them!

My Project

My students need a new mixer for our sound system in our school so they can preform their first musical. Adding a new mixer will allow our students to get to perform in a professional manner. The sound system we have now is old and broken, and barely usable. These kids deserve the chance to express themselves in a professional manner. This opportunity may be the one chance they have to perform on stage ever in their lifetimes!

These students don't get many, if any, opportunities to perform at a professional level.

So many people give up on them, and think that they can't amount to anything. Please show them that they are worth it.
