Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am so honored and privileged to teach 26 energetic and amazing kindergarten students everyday! My school is in a multicultural, low socio-economic area in a large urban city. My students come from hard-working, struggling, caring families who may not be able to afford expensive educational materials for their children. In spite of these circumstances my students come to school so excited and eager to learn everything they can!
My students are eager and enthusiastic about becoming expert readers, writers, and mathematicians!
Our number one goal in kindergarten is to learn to read and write! My students love reading both fiction and nonfiction texts. They enjoy writing stories about their families, friends, pets, and hobbies too! They are also excited to learn new math skills in creative ways.

My Project
This Belkin Store and Charge Station will keep all of our technology organized in our classroom so that the students and I can access it safely, quickly, and easily. Our I-pads and chromebooks are getting unorganized and take a great deal of time to untangle since we currently do not have a neat and tidy organizational system.
This store and charge station will allow my students to use our technological devices more quickly and independently.
The students will be able to easily locate, and quickly log onto an
I-Pad or Chromebook to begin their reading, writing, or math activities at our technology center.
The students will have more success with their wonderful technology programs due to this clutter-free, untangled organizational system for our classroom devices.
