This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Second graders love to read! Last year I was able to get $1,000 worth of books into the hands of my students to take home. Each student got roughly 20 books. Their excitement was unreal. So, this year I would like to do they same thing. Not just because I want to instill their love of reading, but because many of them don't even have 1 book at home. If they don't have at home what they need to become successful, I want our community to get them get there.
