This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a group of students after school. We go out to the soccer fields, practice and play soccer on Wednesdays and Thursdays. These students like to stay after school because they not only enjoy soccer, but that is the only thing that distracts them from other unproductive activities. I hear them say that they like to stay for soccer because when they get home they don't have anything to do.

My Project

Every year I have players that do not have the resources to buy their own soccer gear. With your donation I am buying socks that I will provide to the ones that need it the most. These soccer socks that I am buying will help my players play safe on the field. These socks hold shin guards that protect them from accidents caused by other players. With your donation I will also buy soccer balls. I am trying to have one ball for each player that I have and with your help that will be possible.
