This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are good kids that are currently being cheated from receiving the same educational opportunities as those in surrounding school districts.
Many of the scholars at our school do not have access to either the internet or to Chromebooks to do online schoolwork during this global corona crisis.
More than three-quarters of our students are from low-income households and receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
All students should have the same chance to learn, even during the crisis Covid-19.
My Project
Our students should have the same educational opportunities as those in the school districts around us.
Please help by donating either money or Chromebooks to the William Penn school district.
The Chromebooks would be distributed to the students in our school, a middle school, to help our students access online assignments in all subject areas. Our scholars are preparing for high school. They deserve the same opportunity as neighboring school districts, such as Upper Darby, Springfield and Ridley school districts. Many of our students are preparing to be the next leaders and your donations will help them reach their goals.
