Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are a group of 25 inquisitive, motivated, and energetic inner-city boys and girls from a variety of different ethnic backgrounds. Some of us come from challenging home situations but still arrive at school every morning, eager to learn and ready for the upcoming day.
Our imaginations sometimes run wild with the ideas of all the things we can achieve in this world.
We love exploring the cultures around us and learning as much as possible! In our eyes, we are all one big family.
We are even using this theme within our music and dance classes. Unfortunately, our students lack exposure to the arts because of financial barriers, despite the fact that we strive to provide them with this exposure as often as possible.
