Our students at OES work very hard in the classroom and outside of it. Although, we are two rural elementary schools in Greene County, TN, the students make the best of the resources given to them. They are always charismatic and eager to participate. Every day they bring a positive attitude and show a willingness to try their best at the tasks being placed in front of them. We are proud of the attitude they show at our schools and how they represent them! They make teaching them very enjoyable for the faculties of these two schools.
My Project
This equipment will help our middle school football program out tremendously. We have a lot of equipment that does not properly fit many of our players. Some of our younger players have difficulty keeping their helmets from moving around while they're wearing it. They also find that their shoulder pads and pants are way too big for them. For safety reasons, it would be ideal to get equipment that correctly fits a player.
Safety is my top priority as the head football coach at our school.
We could use equipment that is up to date with today's standards and fits most of our players. We would like to have several newer model helmets and newer shoulder pads to ensure that our players' best interests are in mind.
