The learners in my class are impressive. I am so proud of how far they have come since beginning their journey in Kindergarten at our K-2 school. They take ownership of their learning and strive to become better at all they do. They're not afraid to make mistakes and challenge themselves.
My students are the kindest, sweetest group of kinesthetic kids that benefit from cozying up in a comfortable spot to support their growing reading and focus stamina.
They DESERVE an environment that is comfortable to them and conducive to their growth.
My Project
The students in my classroom will benefit from the options to choose between the floor cushions, floor chairs with comfortable backs and pillow chairs which this DonorsChoose project will provide.

An uncomfortable student is a distracted student. This project will provide comfort for these incredible learners.
After introducing 5 large yoga balls as seating options in my class I have noticed a dramatic difference in attitude about arriving at school for some students. This project will provide further seating choices for kids. Students will choose where they feel most comfortable attending to their learning practice.
