My Project

Our goal is to create an outdoor garden that serves as a therapeutic and educational environment for special needs students.

The garden will provide a variety of sensory experiences, a place for hands on learning, therapeutic relaxation, and a sense of purpose and accomplishment for elementary students with special needs.

Hands on learning is key for these students.

Students will learn social skills, responsibility, teamwork, math skills, science, economics, and resourcefulness. Students will take pride in caring for the garden and develop greater autonomy and self-esteem. Let's show kids with special needs how much they can do!
