My Students

My students are curious sponges that soak up learning, especially during science.

I want to bring a live river ecosystem to our classroom so they can become more engaged and understand how organisms are both dependent and independent within an ecosystem.

My Project

This 20 gallon aquarium will allow the students to engage in learning through a hands- on approach. Students will understand that an ecosystem is a community of organisms living amongst each other. They will understand food webs and food chains. This model ecosystem can be used to learn more about the complex relationships that exist on earth. It us a great learning tool for students.

Science is inquiry based and students need the tools to be able to answer their own questions through investigations and observations.

Science can not be explored solely through a text book. I need these materials to enhance my learning community. Thank you for considering us!
