What's better than being in kindergarten? My students come to school excited and eager to learn every single day.
Kindergarteners learn best when given the opportunity to play, problem solve, and explore the world around them.
My students are motivated by natural curiosity, interactive activities, and a genuine love of learning new things.
I hope to foster this love of learning at the K level and beyond by providing as many opportunities as I can for students to explore, create, cooperate, and problem solve.
My Project
Help me give a set of Bob Books to my students so that they will be able to read along with their parents. During the "stay-at-home" time many of the students in my class do not have books available for them to read. This set of books would give students a way to practice those skills. Eventually, it will help my students decode what they are practicing on-line as well as practicing high-frequency words. This would have been the time that we would start decoding words since most of them already would have known their letter names and sounds. The books are early readers that include CVC words and high-frequency words.
My students will be so happy to receive these books to use at their home to enjoy during their distance learning.
The books are also going to help them pass time during the coronavirus pandemic while enjoying family time. Kids will be kids and they surely will love this item while learning and having fun.
